In an offensive showdown, North Carolina-Wilmington easily beat Virginia Military Institute 110-93. North Carolina-Wilmington enjoyed a small 46-45 lead at halftime, but turned it on in the second half to blow Virginia Military Institute out. Cedrick Williams picked up a double-double in the win with 23 points and 12 rebounds.

With two outings that included a team season high in scoring, T.J. Warren, a 6-8 sophomore from NC State, has won the StatSheet NCAA Player of the Week. West Virginia's Devin Williams is the StatSheet NCAA Freshman of the Week and Todd Mayo from Marquette is StatSheet's NCAA 6th Man of the Week.
